There are currently 15 to 20 minute delays on the Red and Purple Line due to police activity at 7th St/Metro Center. Trains are sharing 1 track between 7th St/Metro and Civic Center/Grand Park while LAPD conduct their investigation. Please follow announcements for boarding platform.
Those who are heading to Union Station to make transfers to Metrolink should use alternate routes if possible to avoid delays. Consider DASH D or other Metro Bus lines. Metro staff have reached out to Metrolink to ask them to hold trains as long as possible for those making connections.
