If you love cats, feline fashion and cat puns, this is is the event for you. CatCon, the only cat-centric, pop culture convention in the world, returns for its third year the weekend of Aug. 12 and 13. The event will be taking place at the Pasadena Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. General admission adult tickets are $30.

Both human and feline celebrities and influencers will be on hand for the event, including Ian Somerhalder of the TV show Vampire Diaries, Mike Bridavsky and Lil BUB, Moshow the Cat Rapper, Cats of Instagram, Julie Newmar of Batman’s Catwoman, Pudge the Cat, White Coffee Cat, and many more. There will also be seminars such as They Put the Special in Special Needs, The Furrocious Fashion Face-Off, and CatCon Video Festival presented by The Pet Collective. Plus, CatCon will feature one of the biggest adoption lounges ever! Just remember, if you decide to take a new furry friend home via Metro, make sure the kitty is in a secured carrier.

To get to CatCon, take the Gold Line to Del Mar Station, then walk north on Arroyo Parkway and east on Green Street to the convention center. It’s about a 10-minute walk. You can also get there via Metro Bike Share, which recently launched in Pasadena. There’s a bike share station directly across the street from the convention center.
