As we approach the final month of spring, Metro and its riders are preparing themselves for more than just heat. All Service Councils will receive an update on the budget for the coming 2017-18 fiscal year that begins July 1. All Councils except San Gabriel Valley will receive a preview of December 2017 Service Change Proposals and approve a date, time and location for their corresponding public hearings to be held in July 2017.

The San Fernando Council held an abbreviated meeting this month and was followed by a public hearing on changes proposed for the Orange Line (more info on that here). Remember, the deadline for comments on the proposed changes is 11:59 p.m. Saturday.

As the San Fernando Valley Service Council’s meeting was shortened to provide time for the public hearing, all other Councils will also receive the Quarterly Station Cleanliness and Regional Service Performance Reports. The San Fernando Valley will catch up on those reports next month.
