Cutey Pie Café is located along the 2nd/Broadway segment of the Regional Connector. The small “buffeteria” is in the basement of the Broadway Civic Center Building and has been offering a cafeteria style menu since 1990. The owners, Mi and Peter Rhee, are well known by the tenants as well as regulars from neighboring buildings and other offices.
The café is known for its delicious variety of classic diner food and caters to those seeking a quick breakfast before heading to work or those getting lunch later in the day. The café has a menu that includes a large selection of ethnically diverse options and also offers a large selection of snack items and drinks.
The unprecedented full street closure along 2nd/Broadway which was in place until October 2016 had an impact on the business. “Thankfully, we have been able to receive support from the Business Interruption Fund and that has really helped our business,” Ms. Rhee stated recently.
