Service Alert: Blue Line resuming normal service after auto-train incident

UPDATE 7 p.m.: Trains are now running on both tracks and normal Blue Line service has resumed between Florence and Compton stations. Bus shuttles have stopped running. There may some residual delays through early evening. Thank you for your patience.

***

The Blue Line is currently experiencing major delays due to a train-auto incident at 119th Street that happened about 3:45 p.m.

As of 5 p.m., Blue Line trains are sharing one track between Florence and Compton. Expect 30 minute delays.

Supplementary bus shuttles between Florence and Compton stations remain in service to help with crowds.

For alternate service to DTLA, consider using the Silver Line and Green Line. The Silver Line upcharge has been waived — i.e. there is no extra charge for transferring to the Silver Line.

Two occupants of the auto and one person on the train had injuries; none were life-threatening.
