Okay, okay — the Rooftop Cinema Club is also screening Blade Runner on the same night, but ours is free and takes place where part of the original movie was filmed.
The screening of Blade Runner at Union Station will take place Wednesday, April 5, right in the Historic Ticketing Hall. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the movie will start at 7:30 p.m. Please note: seating is on a first come, first served basis, and due to high interest in this event we advise that you arrive early to secure your seat. There are approximately 500 seats available and we’ll have a designated area to queue up in front of the ticketing hall.
The Blade Runner screening kicks off Metro Art’s Sci-Fi at Union Station series. Next in the series is Them!, taking place Friday, May 12, and Her, taking place Friday, June 9.
After April 5, there will be no more public showings of Blade Runner until after the sequel hits theatres this fall. The trailer for Blade Runner 2049 is below. Will it live up to expectations? You tell me.
Union Station is accessible via Metro Rail, Metro Bus and several municipal bus lines. Use the Trip Planner for routes and connections.
