Metro is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Gold Line Foothill Extension, which opened March 5, 2016, with customer appreciation events on the following days:
Thursday, March 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Arcadia Station
- Monrovia Station
Thursday, March 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Duarte/City of Hope Station
- Irwindale Station
Thursday, March 30 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Azusa Downtown Station
- APU/Citrus College Station
Drop by and pick up a commemorative Golden Ticket and other various giveaway items. Make sure to hold on to your ticket as two lucky winners will also be selected each week to receive a 30-Day Metro TAP card.

Will the TAP card be one thats already in circulation or will it be a special commemorative tap card?

I don’t have that information at this time, but I believe it will be the regular blue TAP card. If that changes, I’ll definitely update.
