Mathnasium of Hancock Park is located along Phase 1 of the Purple Line Extension corridor in Sycamore Square Plaza. Sidney C. Jackson, Jr. has owned and operated the tutorial center since March 2014; offering customized math tutoring services to children in grades K-12. Mr. Jackson employs a number of instructors who teach children math in a caring and encouraging environment. The tutors help students thrive by designing a customized learning plan for each individual and assisting with homework.

The center is organized in a way that offers students an environment free of distractions and maximizes their learning opportunity.  Mathnasium of Hancock Park boasts 5 Yelp stars out of 5, showing that students and parents are highly satisfied with the tutorial services they receive.

According to Mr. Jackson, his business has experienced a drop in customers since Metro’s construction began. “The reality is that we have been impacted by construction, but I’m fortunate that the BIF has helped me keep my business going,” said Mr. Jackson.
