Here’s the announcement from Metro:

Held in Coordination with the Historic Cultural Neighborhood Council Urban Design/Land Use Committee (HCNC UD/LUC)

Metro is designing a new Emergency Security Operations Center facility in the Los Angeles Arts District. The three-story structure with at-grade parking will serve as the Emergency Operations Center and support day-to-day Metro security operations, radio dispatch and emergency coordination.

Metro is also planning to integrate Rail and Bus Operations Centers into the facility. This will be a secured facility for authorized personnel only.
