Update, 5:12 p.m.: At this time, trains resume normal service.
There is currently no Green Line service between El Segundo and Redondo Beach stations due to a BNSF Railway train derailment just north of the Douglas Station. This means all westbound trains turnback at El Segundo Station and return towards Norwalk. Law enforcement has requested for train service to be suspended as they investigate this as a potential hazardous material incident. Bus shuttles are currently running between the three stations for those who need to continue their trip.
We’ll continue updating on Green Line service here at the Source, or you can check for the latest service updates on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metroLAalerts.
