Here are the free shuttles serving the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval

Happy Halloween Source Readers! The West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval is back, and due to massive crowds there will be street closures in the area. Several Metro buses—Line 2, 4, 10, 30, 105, 704 and 705 will also be detouring around the event. But that doesn’t mean there are no transit options to help you reach the Carnaval!

Three free shuttle options will be available, traveling along Santa Monica Boulevard between Kings Road and La Brea Avenue: CityLineX will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The PickUp Line will run from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. And the CityLineX or Hollywood Link shuttle will connect with the Red Line Hollywood/Highland Station. Please note the Hollywood Link only travels between Hollywood/Highland Station and La Brea. From La Brea, connect with other shuttles running to the Carnaval.

For specific line-by-line detour information click here. For those looking to use Metro buses in the area, you can use the buses listed above, however, there may be some walking involved to reach to Carnaval. To plan your best route, see Maps and Timetables or use the Metro Trip Planner.

  1. Maybe in a Century or two there will be a subway running between the Red Line’s Vine station and West Hollywood.
