Explore Metro through a free Day of the Dead Art Tour this Saturday

Ride the Metro system creatively–and spookily–with a free Day of the Dead Art Tour on Saturday, Oct. 29!

Learn about Día de los Muertos and celebrate the lives of those who have passed on during this one-night-only tour exploring artworks along the Metro Red Line through the lens of artist and poet Consuelo Flores. The tour will begin with free face painting at Universal City/Studio City Station at 3 p.m. and will depart from there at 4 p.m. It will end with a viewing of the ofrendas on display at Grand Park.

  1. its great that metro is trying to get the public into art! And i know the lady in charge today was doing her best. But I left halfway through the event because the host was really inexperienced and the overall experienced seemed lacking structure. i would love to volunteer some time to do this myself. But in order to provide a better experience a trained doscent or person in the field of art or with experience in a museum setting would be great
