11:47 a.m. Update: Bus shuttles are now in service between Expo/Crenshaw and Expo/Western. Please allow extra travel time in area.
Rail service on the Metro Expo Line is currently suspended between Expo/Crenshaw-Expo/Western due to a train-person incident that occurred at approximately 11 a.m. this morning. All eastbound trains are traveling as far as Expo/Crenshaw Station and turning back to Downtown Santa Monica. Westbound trains are traveling to Expo/Western and returning to 7th Street/Metro Center.
Bus shuttles have been requested to transport customers until the incident is cleared. To avoid delays, customers are encouraged to use alternate routes. For up-to-the-minute status updates, follow Metro on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metroLAalerts.
