Upcoming Business Interruption Fund workshops in September

Metro will be hosting two Business Interruption Fund (BIF) informational workshops in September. One will be held along the Purple Line Extension, Phase 1 and the other along the Crenshaw/LAX transit corridor.

Business owners are invited to come learn about Metro’s BIF program which provides financial assistance to small “mom and pop” businesses directly impacted by transit rail construction along the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, the Little Tokyo area and 2nd/Broadway segment of the Regional Connector, and the Purple Line Extension, Phase 1.

Metro staff as well as staff from Metro’s fund administrator, Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Corporation (PCR), will be on-hand to share information about how to apply for the BIF program, provide tips for preparing the application and supporting materials, and answer questions.
