Go Metro and meet decathlon Gold Medalist Bryan Clay at APU/Citrus Station today!

With the Rio Games in full swing, Metro’s and LA2024’s efforts to bring the Games closer to home continues today when Bryan Clay — who won the Gold Medal in the decathlon at the 2008 Beijing Games and is an alum of Azusa Pacific University — appears at the Gold Line’s APU/Citrus Station from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. today. Feel free to swing by and get an autograph or photo taken with Bryan. It’s free!

Here’s a video about Bryan:

There is one more Olympic athlete appearance after today on the Metro system — and it’s a pretty good one:

Downtown Santa Monica Station, Aug. 19 — Mark Spitz, nine-time Gold Medalist in Swimming at the 1968 Mexico City Games and 1972 Munich Games.
