With the Rio Games in full swing, Metro’s and LA2024’s efforts to bring the Games closer to home continues today when Valerie Brisco — who won three Gold Medals in track at the 1984 Los Angeles Games (200 meters, 400 meters and 4 x 400 meter relay) — will appear at 7th/Metro Center Station in downtown Los Angeles from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Feel free to swing by and get an autograph or photo taken with Valerie.
