Metro will be hosting a Business Interruption Fund (BIF) informational workshop Tuesday, August 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the L.A. Times Community Room, located at 145 S. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Come learn about Metro’s BIF program which provides financial assistance to small “mom and pop” businesses impacted by transit rail construction along the Crenshaw/LAX Line, the Little Tokyo area and 2nd/Broadway segment of the Regional Connector, and the Purple Line Extension, Phase I.
Metro staff as well as staff from Metro’s fund administrator, Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Corporation (PCR), will be on-hand to share information about how to apply for the program, provide tips for preparing applications and supporting materials and answer questions.
In addition, Metro Construction Relations will provide an update on construction activities along the 2nd/Broadway segment of the Regional Connector.
