Metro CEO Phil Washington was honored Wednesday with the Tom Bradley Equal Opportunity Award at the 68th Annual American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Awards.
The award goes to those who have successfully promoted equal opportunity in the workplace and community. Among Phil’s contributions are leadership programs, opportunities for small/disadvantaged/veteran-owned businesses and elevating women and minorities in the workplace and on construction projects.
Metro Board Member John Fasana — who will be Board Chair beginning July 1 — presented Phil with the award.
