City of Los Angeles is hosting a tribute concert for (The Artist Formerly Known As) Prince on the south lawn of Los Angeles City Hall. The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Attendees will be able to watch the concert from Grand Park.
Avoid event street closures in the area and Go Metro to the concert. You can walk from Union Station, or take the Red/Purple Line to Civic Center/Grand Park Station. Metro will run longer, 6-car trains on the Red Line through close of service to support the event. Both the Red and Purple Line run every 10 minutes until midnight, and Friday late night rail service continues until approximately 2 a.m.
For live updates on rail service and bus detours, follow Metro on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metroLAalerts.
