Get a free family portrait at Mother’s Day Union Station art tour

Looking for something fun to do with Mom this Sunday? Why not check out Metro’s free Union Station art tour? You’ll be able to explore Union Station art, architecture and spaces not generally open to the public, such as the Historic Ticketing Hall. The tour will also explore artworks located in the Gold Line portal, Union Station East and inside the Metro Headquarters Building.

And because it’s Mother’s Day, we’re also offering free family portraits by caricature artists, so Mom can take home a little souvenir of the outing. Artists will be stationed near the information booth inside the Alameda Street entrance from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The tour departs at 10:30 a.m. and ends around 12:30 p.m. — just in time to walk over to Olvera Street for lunch!

To reach Union Station, take the Gold, Red, Purple or Silver Line. There are also multiple bus connections. For more information on Metro Art Tours, visit metro.net/art.
