Where to get your commemorative Expo to Santa Monica TAP card

Expo2_TAPCard

Y’all knew it was coming: commemorative TAP cards will be available starting Friday, May 20, to celebrate the Expo Line opening to Santa Monica. You’ll be able to purchase them from TAP Vending Machines at the following stations and Metro Customer Centers while supplies last. TAP cards cost $1 at TVMs, or $2 at the customer centers.

  • Not all TVMs at each station will carry commemorative TAP cards, please check sticker on TVM to see which machine is stocked with commemorative cards.

  1. Unfortunately the commemorative cards are not available at Union Station (pretty sure I was in the east portal). Will they still be available Monday?

    • Hi Pat,

That set of cards is being sold by Big Blue Bus/City of Santa Monica, and we’ll get more info soon on when they will become available.

  2. This is nice to hear, but have the no-longer-accurate commemorative TAP card stickers been removed from the TVMs along the Gold Line? I wanted to buy a commemorative card from one of those TVMs, but was issued the plain blue one instead. :-S

  3. Metro’s The Source,

    So glad. GJ
