Expo Line riders: bus shuttles will replace trains between Expo/La Brea and Culver City Station beginning this Saturday, March 19 through Sunday, March 20 close of service. This means throughout the day, the final stop for all westbound trains will be Expo/La Brea Station, and eastbound service to downtown L.A. begins at Expo/La Brea.
The bus shuttles and track closure this weekend will support routine tree trimming and Expo Phase II work. Crews will continue tying in signal systems from the existing Expo Line to Phase II to Santa Monica. While the work is in effect, customers should be aware of the following service levels:
- Saturday and Sunday, trains between 7th Street/Metro Center and Expo/La Brea Station will arrive approximately every 20 minutes.
- During work hours, trains will also share 1 track between Expo/Crenshaw Station and Farmdale Station.
- Normal service to all Expo Line stations will resume Monday morning.

For those headed to the Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band concert on Saturday, Metro offers convenient service to the L.A. Sports Arena from both Expo/Vermont Station and Expo Park/USC Station. Late-night service means trains will run until approximately 2 a.m.!
And finally, a big thank you to all customers affected by this weekend’s work. As maintenance work can be a dynamic process, please check back here on The Source or follow us on Twitter @metrolosangleles or @metroLAalerts for the latest service updates.
