More about Metro’s joint development process here. These are developments that typically take place on land that Metro acquires to construct a project. When the project is complete, that land can be used for other purposes.
Here’s the notice from Metro:
You are invited to attend community workshops about development opportunities on public land around the future Expo/Crenshaw and Fairview Heights stations along the Crenshaw/LAX Line. The workshops are part of a public participation process to create Development Guidelines for the sites that reflect community goals, including desired elements, function and use of the space. Come engage in stimulating dialogue on the future of your community!
We encourage you to attend one of the upcoming roundtable discussions. Refreshments will be provided.
