Metro Bike Hub El Monte hosted a Commuting 101 Clinic on December 9, 2015.

Flat tire clinics in both English and Spanish will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27, and Thursday, Jan. 28, at the El Monte Station Bike Hub. The clinics are free.

The clinic on Jan. 27 will be in English and the same clinic will be taught in Spanish on Jan. 28. Both clinics begin at 6 p.m.

Attendees will learn how to patch and/or replace an inner tube, how to prevent flats, what tools to carry with them to fix flats and more. Metro will be giving away a free pair of bike lights for everyone that completes the clinic.

Metro opened its first-ever Bike Hub at El Monte Station in September. The facility is the first of more bike hubs to come, and offers bike commuters a more secure parking option than public racks. The hub features technology for secure, 24/7 access for paid members, as well as retail sales, repair services and bike rentals. See this earlier Source post for additional details.
