Start the new year with Metro art and music!

If your New Year’s resolution is to get out and explore the city while enjoying arts and culture, here are a few events you won’t want to miss!

  • Friday, Jan. 8: Hyperion Duo will perform in Union Station’s Historic Ticketing Hall from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages.
  • Saturday, Jan. 9: Enjoy an arts and architecture tour of Union Station from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — ¡en español! Meet at the Union Station Information Kiosk, inside the Alameda Street entrance.
  • Sunday, Jan. 10: Enjoy an arts and architecture tour of Union Station from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet at the Union Station Information Kiosk, inside the Alameda Street entrance.
  • Friday, Jan. 22: Quartetto Fantastico will perform in Union Station’s Historic Ticketing Hall from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages.

  1. The more METRO makes LAUS an arts and social destination, the more people will make the station and its trains part of their normal sphere. It’s come a long way from the hollow station of the 1960s when I first knew it. Bravo!
