Final Update 4:30 p.m.: Gold Line trains are resuming normal service to all stations at this time, as the earlier incident at Little Tokyo/Arts District is now clear.
Update 3:30 p.m.: Here’s the plan for service on the Gold Line this evening, as we head into rush hour still managing this morning’s incident.
The Pasadena Gold Line will run approximately every eight minutes between Union Station and Sierra Madre Villa. In East LA, trains will arrive approximately every ten minutes between Atlantic and Pico/Aliso Station.
At this time, there is still limited rail service between Union Station and Pico/Aliso. A shuttle train is in place to run directly between Union Station and Pico/Aliso, without stopping at Little Tokyo/Arts District. Customers whose destination is Little Tokyo will need to use the bus shuttles at Union Station (Patsouras Transit Plaza Bay 3 or 4) or Pico/Aliso. For those starting their trip at Little Tokyo, bus shuttles will depart for Pico/Aliso and Union Station from the nearside of 1st Street and Judge John Aiso Street.
On behalf of Metro, thank you to all Gold Line customers for your understanding this evening. We encourage you to check back here at The Source, or follow us on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metrolaalerts for further updates.
