Update 1:46 p.m.: The LAPD has given the all clear. The entrance to the station and streets are reopening.

The Los Angeles Police Department is in the process of investigating a suspicious package near Union Station.

Cesar Chavez Boulevard between Alameda and Vignes is closed. Alameda between Arcadia and Alpine is also closed.

The Union Station West entrance — i.e. the Alameda side of the station — is closed.

Numerous bus lines that stop near Union Station are impacted.
