Past artworks by Kenturah Davis, one of fourteen artists selected to create site-specific artworks for Crenshaw/LAX line.

The public is invited to participate in a photo shoot with artist Kenturah Davis on Sunday, November 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Davis is one of 14 artists selected to create site-specific, integrated artworks for the Crenshaw/LAX line. Her proposed project for the Downtown Inglewood Station is a series of portraits inspired by the possibilities of serendipitous observations that can happen on a train. Those who reside, work or maintain a significant connection with Inglewood are invited to be a part of history!

Davis will introduce the concept for her artwork and invite attendees to participate in a photo shoot from which Davis will select portraits to develop into drawings that will in turn become part of the final artwork at Downtown Inglewood Station. She hosted a similar photo shoot in May 2015.

Space is limited and attendees will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
