It’s almost Rideshare Week, which means it’s time to recognize a few of the traffic reporters who work year-round to help people beat traffic and find transportation options. The winners were nominated by their peers and members of Metro in Los Angeles County, Orange County Transportation Authority, San Bernardino Associated Governments and Ventura County Transportation Commission.

The Golden Pylon Awards are a traditional prelude to Rideshare Week, which begins Monday, October 5. During Rideshare Week, Metro will be hosting events including a Karaoke Rickshaw, guided bike rides to Ambulante Film Festival and a commuter interview showcase.
