To kick-off the Rail Series, Dodger great and former third baseman Ron Cey will ride with fans on Metrolink’s Rail Series train from the Fullerton station at 4:49 p.m. to L.A. Union Station and then hop on the Dodger Stadium Express to Dodger Stadium in time for the first pitch Friday at 7:10 p.m.

The special Rail Series trains will depart Oceanside for L.A. Union Station, making all stops except San Clemente Pier and Commerce. For the 7:10 p.m. game on Friday, the Rail Series train will leave the Oceanside station at 3:26 p.m. and arrive at L.A. Union Station at 5:35 p.m. For the Saturday and Sunday games, both at 1:05 p.m., Rail Series trains will depart the Oceanside station at 9:45 a.m. and arrive at L.A. Union Station at 11:55 a.m.

Special $7 round-trip tickets can be purchased the day of the game at ticket machines along the Orange County Line. Tickets for seniors/disabled are $6. Kids aged 18 and younger ride free to all three Rail Series games.

Once at Union Station, fans with a game ticket can take the Dodger Stadium Express to Dodger Stadium at no additional cost. Boarding is on the west side of Union Station near Alameda Street.

Following the games, fans can ride the Dodger Stadium Express back to Union Station to catch the special Rail Series trains back to Oceanside, which will make all station stops except Commerce. The Rail Series trains will depart L.A. Union Station one hour after the final out of the game. Both the Rail Series train and Dodger Stadium Express service have been made possible by a grant from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) and Metro. The grant supports clean fuel transit service within the South Coast Air Basin. Funds are derived from a portion of the vehicle registration fee set aside for mobile source projects that result in emission reductions.

On Friday night only, there will be a special kick-off event at the Irvine Station starting at 3:30 p.m. Fans are invited to enjoy a celebration before they leave for the game; the first 50 people to attend the event will receive free Metrolink train tickets. Those who donate a non-perishable food item to Second Harvest Food Bank can play Plinko to win prizes. Trains depart Irvine station for the Friday night game at 4:19 p.m. and 5:10 p.m.
