As many of you know, the first section of the project — from Wilshire/Western to Wilshire/La Cienega — is under construction. Early field work is also underway on the second section which will run from La Cienega to Avenue of the Stars/Constellation in the heart of Century City.
For more about the Purple Line Extension, visit the project’s homepage on metro.net or follow the project on Facebook and Twitter. The project is funded by Measure R, the half-cent sales tax increase approved by Los Angeles County voters in 2008, and federal grants.

Is there really only one station portal for the Constellation Station? That will force 3/4 of the pedestrians to cross those very wide boulevards. Shouldn’t you be building a portal to each corner of the intersection?
Also, the La Cienega Station shouldn’t be described as “EXIST.” since it won’t “exist” for a few more years. You could mark it as “end of Segment 1”.
