Document your wanderings around Los Angeles at Union Station this Friday! Metro and Writ Large Press will be hosting PUBLISH! Your Journey, an interactive writing activity, at the Union Station Information Kiosk near the Alameda Street entrance on July 24 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Participants will be able to write a story using the prompt “Where did you begin?” and stories can be as long or short as you like. Typewriters and local authors will be on hand to assist in the storytelling. All journeys will be pinned on a map which will be shared online later, so everyone can see where you started, and where you’re going to.

Bonus: We’ll be handing out commemorative Metro Rail 25th anniversary items at the event! Come by and receive a free T-shirt, tote bag, pin or sticker while supplies last.

PUBLISH! Your Journey is free and open to all ages, and is a part of Metro Art Presents.

  1. Mike, if you don’t want to type, you can ask one of the eight authors to do it for you. They’re there to help!
