Track inspection and preventative repairs are scheduled to continue on the Pasadena Gold Line. For those interested in what is up next, here’s an overview for Gold Line maintenance the week of July 19 to 24.
Starting Monday, Jul 20 through Thursday, Jul 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., trains will operate every 12 minutes along the entire line. However, Customers should anticipate minor delays between Sierra Madre Villa and Lake Stations as trains will share 1 track at Allen Station.
(For specific departure times from Sierra Madre Villa, Union Station and Atlantic Station during maintenance, please see the Service Advisories Page.)
On Friday, July 24, the Gold Line will return to normal operations. Customers who are wondering when repairs will be completed should know atleast another month is required before all elements considered “weak” are removed from the list. With that being said, Metro would like to say thank you to all Gold Line customers who may have been impacted by the work.
We appreciate your patience, and know the end goal will be a more reliable and safe Gold Line. More updates on next week’s maintenance schedule can also be found here on Source. For service alerts, please follow us on Twitter @metrolosangeles or @metroalerts.

A twelve minute headway isn’t so bad!
Last time I heard, when Expo and Foothill extensions open, we will see 12 minute headway for months until additional vehicles are constructed.
Will this never end?
