Make sure to stop by Union Station’s East Portal tomorrow between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to check out a few businesses participating in Metro’s new Eat, Shop, Play Local campaign. This Vendor Day event will feature local business participants from each of the three Metro project-areas (Crenshaw/LAX, Regional Connector and Purple Line Extension):
Leimert Park Art Walk/Vision Theatre (Crenshaw): T-shirts, cultural gifts and information about upcoming events.
Phone House (Little Tokyo): cell phone accessories, Bluetooth speakers and fun electronic gadgets.
Dysonna City Art Gallery (Wilshire): beautiful art and photos.
Visitors will receive a free tote bag with each purchase and can even enter to win cash prizes in the next Eat, Shop, Play Quarterly Drawing on October 1, 2015.
Eat, Shop, Play Local is a promotional campaign to minimize the construction impact to small business in neighborhoods where heavy transit construction takes place. For more information click here.
