Update: Blue Line resuming normal train service to 103rd St/Watts Towers

The Metro Blue Line is currently experiencing major delays due to police activity at 103rd St/Watts Towers Station. Per the Los Angeles Sheriff Department’s request, the station is closed for investigation until further notice. Blue Line train service to 103rd St/Watts Towers has been suspended. All southbound trains turn back at Florence Station and northbound trains turn back at Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station.

Customers are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays. Consider taking the Metro Bus Line 55 if traveling between Downtown LA and South LA or the Metro Green Line to Silver Line.

Update:  10:25am: Blue Line trains are now resuming normal service to 103rd St/Watt Towers Station. Service was disrupted at approximately 9:04am this morning when Rail Operations received report of a suspicious package on tracks near the station.
