Metro released the proposed $5.6-billion budget for the coming fiscal year, which begins July 1 and runs through June 30, 2016. The Metro Board of Directors will consider the budget at their May round of meetings. The budget is also online at metro.net.
In one sentence, the news you probably care most about: the budget does NOT propose any fare increases or service cuts in the next fiscal year.
