Redondo Boulevard at Florence Avenue closes permanently Friday

Redondo Boulevard will be permanently close at Florence Avenue for construction of the Crenshaw/LAX light rail line. Jose Ubaldo/Metro.

Redondo Boulevard at Florence Avenue will be permanently closed on Friday in preparation of upcoming construction activities for the Crenshaw/LAX Line. Cars will not be able to turn from Redondo onto Florence or vice versa.

The closure is being done so that the old railroad tracks can be removed and new ones installed.

Walsh/Shea Corridor Constructors will post detour signs. West Boulevard has been identified as the alternate route for those trying to get to and from Redondo Boulevard.

  2. Where was the warning about the 30min delay on the Gold Line (May 1st)? Did I miss it?

    I am still waiting for the train in this sweaty weather. 🙁
