Artisanal L.A. is a seasonal shopping and tasting event featuring a carefully-curated selection of local, sustainable food and homeware vendors.

If this seems like your jam (pun intended), the Spring 2015 show is right around the corner! The event takes place this Saturday and Sunday, Apr. 25 through 26, at The Reef (formerly known as the LA Mart Building) in downtown L.A.’s Fashion District. This most recent iteration promises nearly a hundred sellers, a cafe/lounge, workshops, demos, tastings, DJs and more from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

It’s easy (and sustainable!) to Go Metro to Artisanal L.A. Plus, those who do will receive one more perk: a free, collectable tote bag. Take the Metro Blue Line to Grand/LATTC Station and walk six minutes east on Washington Boulevard to Broadway. Just remember, the Blue Line has been running modified weekend service these past few months to facilitate work on the Better Blue Line upgrade project, so be sure to check our Service Advisories on metro.net for the latest updates.

Alternatively, you can take one of many Metro buses serving the Fashion District, including but not limited to the 40, 45 and 745, which stop at Broadway/Washington Blvd. just steps from The Reef. Present your valid TAP card on entering the market to claim your tote while supplies last. Plan your best route with Trip Planner or Google Transit.
