With the exception of the Westside/Central Service Council, all Service Council meetings scheduled their meetings this month at their usual times, dates and locations. The Westside/Central Service Council has changed their regular meeting location, effective this month, moving from the La Cienega Tennis Center in Beverly Hills to the Metro headquarters building in downtown LA.
The San Fernando Valley Service Council kicked off April’s set of meetings last night (Wednesday, April 1). All Councils will have discussions on Metro’s restructured Parking Ordinance, which they received presentations on last month. Two Service Councils, Westside/Central and San Fernando Valley, scheduled recognition ceremonies for one of their respective members, and some Service Councils will receive presentations on Metro’s Letter Designation Project (which is looking at identifying the names of Metro Rail Lines by letters). All Councils receive the monthly Director’s report, which provides statistics on ridership, performance and other measures of Metro service.
