Next Purple Line Extension community meeting to be held March 19

The next Purple Line Extension community meeting for section one of the project between Wilshire/Western and Wilshire/La Cienega will be held on Thursday, March 19, at the Korean Cultural Center.

Metro’s Construction Relations team will provide the latest updates on pre-construction work along the first section and construction activities for the Design-Builder, including the closure of the parking lot located on the northeast corner of Wilshire and Detroit on April 1.

Other items include introductions to staff from the firm building the first section (Skanska, Traylor, Shea or STS), an overview of the Metro Business Interruption Fund and a look at the first Spotlight of the Month video for the Purple Line Extension’s Eat, Shop, Play Local program.
