We invite you to head on over to the Zocalo Public Square website to check out their latest Metro rider profiles. In the past week, we’ve met a rider who passes the time with a Rubik’s cube (record time to solve: a speedy 56 seconds), a rider who sells car insurance but doesn’t know how to drive and another rider who says L.A.’s traffic is no match for the gridlock in his native San Salvador.

The profiles are part of an ongoing seres by Zocalo, in partnership with Metro. It’s a good chance to learn a nugget or two about some of the folks you may see on the bus or the train. You can also follow the series and participate on social media using the hashtag #myLAcommute.
