Public invited to meet Metro project prime contractors

Metro is hosting a Meet the Primes event on Thursday, March 12. Participants will be able to meet and network with the prime contractors who work on Metro’s projects.

Staff will also be on hand to explain the latest on on Metro’s user friendly Vendor Portal and the Public Works Contract Registration Law (Senate Bill 854), which went into effect in June of 2014.  A representative from California’s Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) will be present to answer questions.

Meet the Primes will take place in the Board Room at Metro Headquarters, One Gateway Plaza from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If you have questions or would like to register, contact Marisela Villar at 213.922.3335 or villarm@metro.net.
