The whipping man

The Pasadena Playhouse is now presenting the multi-award winning production, The Whipping Man, starring Adam Haas Hunter, Jarrod M. Smith and theatre and television star, Charlie Robinson. The historical drama, written by Matthew Lopez and directed by Martin Benson, is set in the days immediately after the Civil War. The story follows a wounded confederate soldier returning to a ruined home to celebrate Jewish Passover alongside his newly freed slaves — ultimately bringing them together as a family.

Following the performance, a panel of admired guests will explore various themes from the play with audience members. See tickets prices and show times at the Pasadena Playhouse website.
