Grand Park will be aglow this New Year’s Eve with lights, projections, 3 music stages and you, if you Go Metro to the celebration.
Arrive at Grand Park’s second-ever New Year’s Eve bash via Metro Bus or Rail and receive a free glow necklace to complete your festive attire. Simply present your TAP card at any park info booth to claim your prize while supplies last.
Avoid the dreaded hunt for parking and zip through traffic by taking the Metro Red or Purple Line to Civic Center/Grand Park Station, or take the Gold Line to Little Tokyo/Arts District Station or Union Station for an easy walk to the park. Various Metro buses serving downtown L.A. are also an option. However, you may have to exit a few stops prior to Grand Park due to event street closures.
Metro Rail, Orange, and Silver Lines will run 24-hours on New Year’s Eve with FREE fares from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Outside of the free fare period, remember to tap your TAP card before each boarding. One way fare is just $1.75 and includes 2 hours of transfers.
