A huge thank you to everyone who came out to participate in the Holiday Hunt! I hope you all had fun and Go Metro to enjoy your prizes. It was also really great to hear about the ways you’ve incorporated Metro, biking and walking into your daily lives and to see so many of you with the Union Station 75th anniversary TAP cards.

If you’d like to see all of the prize winners, browse #TAPandSave on Instagram or on Twitter. Metro also uses that hashtag to point out other destinations where you can use your TAP card to save money.

And of course, everyone wins with the holiday free fares. The rides are on Metro from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. There will also be 24-hour Metro Rail service on NYE, so you can get home safely no matter how late you stay out. (Or if you just reeeeeeally want an early start on getting to the Rose Parade, it’s cool, we got you.)

Finally, a big thank you to those who just followed along for the ride – I know many of you wanted to participate but may not have been able to for various reasons…there will be other opportunities in the year to come! But for now, the Holiday Fairy is signing off. See you next year!
