Josh Brolin (above) and George Clooney (see ABC site photo) turned heads at Union Station yesterday as they appeared for the day in scenes for the newest Coen Brothers movie, “Hail Caesar!” It’s a period piece so men in suits and fedoras and shiny vintage vehicles were all over the place in and around the Fred Harvey Room.
The cast is all star, including Ralph Fiennes, Frances McDormand, Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton and Jonah Hill. None of those folks were obvious on Thursday, although there were so many costumed people walking around it was difficult to tell.
The film is scheduled for 2016 release.
As we’ve written before, dozens of movies, TV shows, music videos and commercials are shot at Union Station each year. Why? Because it’s beautiful and conveniently located to Hollywood.
