In case you didn’t know this, Los Angeles has a pretty awesome soccer team. The L.A. Galaxy have won the Western Conference Championship and have advanced to the 2014 Major League Soccer Cup Final, where they’ll face the New England Revolution at StubHub Center in Carson on Sunday, Dec. 7. The game is set to start at noon.
The Galaxy have won four Cups already and the match will mark the third time that the Galaxy have faced the Revolution in an MLS Cup Final, with the Galaxy winning both previous matches…so here’s to lucky number three!
To get to the game via Metro, take the Metro Silver Line to the Harbor Gateway Transit Center, then transfer to Metro Bus 130, 205 or 246 to Avalon/Victoria. You could also take the Metro Blue Line to Artesia Station and transfer to Metro Bus 130 and 205! Remember: transfers between Metro lines are free within two hours.
If you’re out and about with your bicycle for CicLAvia and plan on attending the game, StubHub Center is an easy bike ride from the Metro Blue Line Artesia Station as well.
For more routes and connections, use Trip Planner or Google Transit.

A major team like this should really play at a venue that is better served by transit (i.e. not just local lines). Maybe if Farmers Field ever gets built, the Galaxy can play there!
I don’t know how to get there
It’s also easy to bike there from the Metro Blue Line Artesia Station.
Thanks for the tip, Joe!
