Businesses on or around Wilshire Boulevard can take advantage of Metro’s Purple Line Extension Project Area Discount Program.

Metro’s Purple Line Extension project team has launched a Project Area Discount Program with local businesses that are located within the project’s first construction section along or near Wilshire Boulevard between Western Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard. To date, more than 40 local businesses have signed up for the program and the list is expected to grow over the coming months.  Other local businesses are also encouraged to join the program in efforts to help draw in customers during Metro utility relocation work.

Metro Riders who frequent participating businesses this holiday season will receive an exclusive discount on retail, dining, sports and more.

To receive a discount, riders must show their Metro Tap Card or show the discount page from their smartphone.

The program is just one of many discount programs offered by Metro. Construction projects such as Regional Connector and Crenshaw/ LAX also provide a long list of businesses offering discounts and Metro Destination Discount program offers discounts countywide.
