Metro will run regular weekday service on Veteran's Day Tuesday

Happy Veteran’s Day to the brave war heroes who served our country! Tomorrow, Metro will run normal weekday service. There will be some bus detours in the northern Downtown L.A. area for the annual Veteran’s Day parades.

The JFAV Annual Veterans Day Parade will take place along Hollywood Boulevard between La Brea Avenue and Vine Street, and Highland Avenue between Sunset Boulevard. and Franklin Avenue. Affected lines include: 156, 212/312, 222 and 780. See the Special Advisory page for details.

As a reminder, maintenance will affect late-night service on the Red Line between Vermont/Santa Monica and Westlake/MacArthur Park stations, and Universal/Studio City and Hollywood/Vine stations, through Nov. 12. Purple Line maintenance will affect service between Wilshire/Western and Wilshire/Vermont stations.

  1. When will the Red Line maintenance end!??!?! It wouldn’t be that bad if the TVs said when the train was going to show up but they never work! Ya’ll claim every 20 mins but I’ve waited like 30 minutes + for trains before. It is so annoying and frustrating!!
