One Direction will be taking over the Rose Bowl tonight! The British heartthrobs will be performing along with 5 Seconds of Summer tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets are still on sale for the special boy band-crazed person in your life. Kickstarter will be hosting a film festival at the Autry showcasing small films funded by the fundraising organization. Admission is free and the showings start at 6 p.m. (Metro Bus 96 to the Autry)

Come out to the South Pasadena Moon Festival, taking place at the South Pasadena Library from noon until 4 p.m. Celebrate one of most important holidays in Chinese culture with exciting entertainment, games and moon cakes! Honor Fraiser Gallery is hosting an opening ceromony for Brooklyn-based artist KAWS and his newest exhibit: Man’s Best Friend. The event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m and is free to attend. (Metro Rapid 733 to Venice/Cadillac)

Nick Offerman, best known as Ron Swanson from TV show Parks and Recreation, will be at Largo at the Coronet for a hosted discussion about his forthcoming book. Make sure to get there early as seat assignments start at 6 p.m. Admission is $35 and includes a copy of his book. (Metro Bus 14 to Beverly/La Cienega)

Nutella fanatics unite: the Nutella truck is here in Los Angeles! It will be Olvera Street this weekend handing out free samples.
